University of Helsinki

The First International Meeting on Food Control Research will take place in University of Helsinki, Finland, October 15-17, 2008. The meeting is organized by the Department of Food and Environmental Hygiene, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

This is the first opportunity for the researchers, working on the efficacy and influence of food control, to discuss the methodology, results and future aspects of the research. By using this meeting as a starting point, we aim at launching a continuous co-operation between researchers in this field and hope to establish this meeting as an annual event.

The congress is funded by the Finnish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Finnish Food Research Foundation.
