ABS
Graduate School - Applied Bioscience Bioengineering, Food & Nutrition,
Environment) was established in the beginning of 1995 as a partnership
between the institutions of four universities and four research institutes.
The training of PhD students takes place in research groups. The requirements
for doctor’s degree are those established by the associated university
in which the student is registered for doctor’s degree.
The
aim of the ABS Graduate School is to offer high quality training for
students aiming at a doctor’s degree at nationwide level. The
strength of the School is the multidisciplinary scientific approach,
the interaction with the relevant business and social sectors, and international
activities. The education offered by the School is focused on food and
nutrition, food-related technologies, sustainable management of the
environment and utilization of natural resources.
